At SCENG Robotics, we are experts in customization and complex system integration. We specialize in transforming challenging concepts into fully functional, production-ready solutions. Backed by an engineering and technical team with over 10 years of working experience, we have successfully delivered over 500 projects as of August 2022.
Explore our successful system integration projects across various industries and applications.
Healthcare & Assistive Robotics solution for patient care and support
In close collaboration with the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Singapore (RRIS) at NTU and Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH), we developed a series of wearable assistive robots over more than 6 years.
The MR.X Assistant robots utilize machine learning to predict and safely prevent patient falls before they happen.
We have developed several high-readiness prototypes currently undergoing clinical trials, with high potential for future commercialization.
Logistics & Automation solution for efficient warehouse operations
Supported by NTUC and NTU, we explored and developed warehouse robotic solutions aimed at maximizing productivity and workplace safety.
Merging mobile base automation with environmental sensors to navigate and operate within dynamic warehouse environments.
We have successfully iterated through designs, and Version 2 is currently ready for full production.
Construction Tech solution with fully automatic operation
Supported by BCA, HDB, and NTU, this project aimed to revolutionize construction through a fully automatic smart crane.
We integrated stereo cameras, radio rangefinders, and wire encoders to provide complex collision avoidance and path-planning capabilities.
The integrated smart hook design can accurately locate and pick up large housing units (blocks) without requiring manual adjustments on the ground.
Advanced Manufacturing solution for precision metal fabrication
Working alongside Simtech, Astar, we developed an advanced platform dedicated to metal 3D printing research.
We built a custom system to overcome the limitations of commercial metal 3D printers, which are often prohibitively expensive and operate as "closed systems" that withhold technical details from researchers.
Our integrated product and service solve these accessibility and transparency issues, empowering local research capabilities.
We provide end-to-end integration covering mechanical, electrical, and software domains.
Leveraging our local manufacturing facilities—including our CNC factory, 3D print factory, and framework welding services.
Custom PCB design and integration for specialized robotic control systems.
Integrating complex optical pathways and sensors, with experience designing for cleanroom environments.
Extensive experience developing systems that meet strict ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 13485 (medical) requirements.
